War Timeline

        Sept. 1 1939- Germany invades Poland, this begins WWII
        Sept. 3 1939- Great Britain and France declare war on Germany.
        Sept. 9 1939- France forces move toward the boarder of Germany. German forces split. Hitler and                                   German leaders plan to invade France.
        Sept. 17 1939- Soviet forces storm into Poland splitting the country. East side under Soviet control,                                      West side under Nazi control.
        Sept. 26 1939- Warsaw Surrenders
        Nov. 30 1939- Phoney War begins. The Winter war begins. Soviets invade Finland.
